During your stroll, under the guidance of an experienced nature guide, you'll learn to identify and observe the aromatic herbs that flourish in this region: Nepitella, Marjoram and Shrubby Thyme. These are valuable ingredients used in the creation of artisanal bitters.
Upon your return to the distillery, you'll delve into the core of your workshop. Here, you'll uncover how these herbs are gathered, processed and converted into liqueurs, following a production process that marries tradition with craftsmanship.
The experience culminates with a sampling of their bitters, complemented by typical local produce. This allows you to fully appreciate the distinct character of the Monti Iblei.
