What to expect

Experience sustainability and the future of agriculture at an eco-friendly banana farm in one of Tenerife's most wonderful regions: El Rincón in La Orotava.

Banana Ecoplantation's crops are characterized by enormous biodiversity. Discover more than 15 varieties of aromatic plants, very diverse insects and earthworms that fertilize the land and birds - from pigeons to owls as well as kestrels, hoopoes and many more.

Take a walk through splendid corridors of banana plants and oats and find out from the finca's owner how these two crops can be combined to create a 95% self-sufficient ecosystem according to the principles of permaculture.

Enjoy a delicious banana snack while taking in the view of Mount Teide, the highest in Spain. You'll also be offered a sweet shot of the most famous banana liquor of the Canary Islands.

Teide and Masca Tour from Southern Tenerife
