At Milan Porta Garibaldi Train Station, in front of the main entrance. Facing the Milan Porta Garibaldi Train Station main entrance, the meeting point is on the left side, just outside the station, in front of Briccocafé next to the stairs and under the covered roof. Arriving by metro: take the M2 (green-line) train to Garibaldi. Make your way to the train station main entrance. Arriving by taxi: ask the driver to take you to Stazione Garibaldi in front of the train station main entrance. Please, arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

Overall the trip was good and worth doing , however Tui clearly lie in their description saying a maximum of 25 people as there was 50 on our trip with only one guide

En je kijkt je ogen uit op de kolossale zuilen van de Basiliek. Ook bezoek je gebieden waar het dagelijks leven zich afspeelde, zoals de baden en tavernes. Je bekijkt de buitenkant van Casa della Regina Carolina, een van de grootste villa's van Pompeii in een elitebuurt bij het Forum. Hier kom je meer te weten over het lopende onderzoek dat is gestart door National Geographic Explorer Caitlin Ellis Barret. En je hoort verhalen over de villa en de dagelijkse huiselijke activiteiten van de welgestelde bewoners. Na een lichte lunch ga je naar de haven van Torre Annunziata, waar je afdaalt onder straatniveau naar het oude Oplontis. Het ingenieuze gebruik van kleur en schaduw geeft de schilderingen een driedimensionaal effect. Hierdoor lijken deze oude scènes net levensecht.
