Excursie is niet doorgegaan, de dag voor de excursie heb ik zelf contact opgenomen om te vragen wat uur en waar ze ons zouden komen ophalen het antwoord was dat de uitstap veranderd was de bus kon niet tot aan de parking geraken waardat de uitstap naar toe ging, en het stukje ongerepte natuur was afgesloten, in plaats van dat hadden ze een ander voorstel gedaan, ( andere plaats om te bezichtigen) maar daar hadden wij geen zin in... We hadden ook de mogelijkheid om te annuleren en is ook gebeurt
During this trip you will see a very special and different part of the island of Crete, an almost untouched area with high mountains and old villages trimmed with the wild natural beauty of the area. Your trip starts approx. at 9am from Rethymno with a personalized pick-up.
The first stop is at the Lake Kournas, where you can have lunch, relax and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the lake. It is the only freshwater lake in Crete and is relatively small. After a drive through the countryside, you will reach the village of Argyroupolis. You will stop to admire its charming springs, walk through the old narrow allies, and have a coffee break.
Next will be the village of Plakias, where you can have a meal, visit the village, or spend time at the beach. On the way back you will be taken on a different road through the Kourtaliotis Gorge, where you can stop to take photos. Around 5.30pm you will get back to Rethymno.
