Se a fila na bilheteria estiver longa, o guia turístico ficará a alguns metros de distância da multidão, perto do Starbucks, para ser melhor visualizado.
O que lembrar
  • Observe que aos sábados, a igreja costuma ficar fechada temporariamente por períodos de 30 a 60 minutos devido a cerimônias de casamento.
  • Por favor, use roupas apropriadas para uma igreja (sem blusas sem mangas, saias curtas ou shorts); os homens devem descobrir a cabeça
  • É proibido comer, beber ou fumar na área da igreja
  • Se a área interna da igreja estiver temporariamente fechada devido a uma cerimônia especial imprevista, você pode começar sua visita pelo terraço panorâmico e pelo tesouro e retornar à igreja mais tarde, quando ela for reaberta.
  • Para chegar ao terraço panorâmico da cúpula, existem 2 elevadores: um maior na parte inferior e um menor na parte superior do edifício; em vez de usar o segundo elevador menor, você pode subir cerca de 160 degraus para chegar ao topo da cúpula, caso haja muitas pessoas esperando o elevador.

    We loved this visit. The church is amazing! Our guide was superb; she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made sure we were always happy to hear perhaps the more gruesome stories of the church. The views from the top of the tower wer great too. It might have been helpful to have given guidance as to which trams/buses to catch and how and where to purchase the tram/bus ticket, along with directions from the closest stops.

    The lady I was with was unable to go to the upper part of the Basilica due to mobility problems , however she was willing for me to go, but there was nowhere for her to sit and wait and on descending was rudely told she could not go back into the main part of the Basilica to wait for me. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave lots of information. I really enjoyed what I saw,
