De uitstap duurde te lang. We boekten een halve dag en waren 3/4 van de dag kwijt. De gidse deed wel haar best, maar het was langdradig door het feit dat het jammer genoeg in 2 talen was en dat dingen tot 4 keer toe werden herhaald.

There's the scorched earth of the lava fields, the jagged rock formations of Roques de Garcia, the Mars-like badlands around Montaña Rajada and the pine forests of the Corona Forestal."
The park's trails have you pass through four different climate zones, which create an ever-changing kaleidoscope of terrains, flora and fauna. From lunar-like lava fields, you'll wander through forests of Canarian pine and across rocky ridges. A visit to the finger-like Roques de Garcia rounds off the trip. It is a great place to view even more of the valley. What's more, because of the early morning start to the excursion, the queues will be shorter.
