Siam Park is het grootste waterpark van Europa en een van de grootste ter wereld. Gelegen in het zuiden van Tenerife, is het een van de belangrijkste toeristische trekpleisters van de Canarische Eilanden. Siam Park heeft een Siamees thema en claimt de meest spectaculaire waterattractie van Europa te zijn.

De bouw van Siam Park begon in 2004. De opening stond oorspronkelijk gepland voor mei 2007, maar het park kampte met bouwproblemen. Uiteindelijk werd het op 17 september 2008 door Hare Koninklijke Hoogheid de Prinses van Thailand, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, voor het publiek geopend.

Attracties:

Vulcano: een ProSlide Behemoth Bowl-glijbaan voor vier personen met een laser erin die een flitsend beeld van een draak produceert
De Draak: een ProSlide Tornado met een lichtshow in de 20 meter brede trechter
Wave Palace: een golfslagbad, gebouwd door Murphys Waves Ltd in Schotland, met een kunstmatig wit zandstrand. Met een hoogte van 3,3 meter zijn de golven de hoogste van alle golfslagbaden ter wereld. De surfschool van het park geeft surflessen in het Wave Palace.
Naga Racer: een raceglijbaan met zes banen
De Reus: twee ProSlide Cannon Bowls, één met de klok mee en één tegen de klok in
Tower of Power: een verticale, transparante glijbaan die rijders door een gebied met haaien en pijlstaartroggen stuurt
Mai Thai-rivier: de langste lazy river ter wereld, met een hoogte van 8 meter (26 voet) ook de hoogste lazy river ter wereld.
Jungle Snakes: vier kronkelende glijbanen die het terrein van het park volgen
Lost City: een kinderspeelstructuur met 120 spellen
Mekong Rapids: een rivierstroomversnelling
Kinnaree: een nieuwe ProSlide voor vier personen van 200 meter (660 ft) lang
Singha: een waterglijbaan met vier trechters, met een snelheid van 18 meter per seconde
Saifá: de nieuwe waterattractie van Siam Park met steile hellingen, snelle glijbanen en verrassende wendingen voor een leuke en opwindende ervaring

Siam Park biedt een eigen pendeldienst aan vanaf diverse haltes in Las Americas en Los Cristianos van 9.30 tot 17.30 uur (met ophaaltijden van elk uur). Reserveren is niet nodig; u hoeft alleen maar te wachten bij de halte met het Siam Park-logo.

Prachtig groen waterpark. Druk, maar erg de moeite waard. Op tijd gaan, dan kun je nog wat zitplaatsen bemachtigen in de schaduw. Vette attracties en hoge golven in het golfslagbad.

Geweldig uitdagende attracties met een groot verrassingseffect. In tegenstelling tot de reguliere parken waar je vaak al ziet hoe een baan loopt blijft het hier spannend. Ligt allemaal mooi verstopt tussen de bomen en struiken. Zonder "fastpass" bijna alles kunnen doen, soms wel 40 min.moeten wachten. Wil je dit niet betaal dan extra voor de fastpass.

Zorg dat je vroeg in het park bent, wij waren er om 09.00 uur. Dan kan je een fastpass aanschaffen, wat echt je geld waard is. Alles is goed schoon en duidelijk aangegeven, neem waterschoenen mee!!

Siam park is fantastisch. In het hoofdseizoen zou ik een fast pass pakken, wij hadden het in mei niet nodig en konden we op een dag alle glijbanen doen, langste wachttijd was 30 minuten.
