Je komt in een compleet andere wereld terecht door een lokale familie te ontmoeten aan hun eettafel in een uniek cultureel foodavontuur. Elke ontmoeting is persoonlijk, met alleen jouw eigen familie/gezelschap en de lokale familie.

Nadat je de lokale familie hebt ontmoet en je eerste drankje hebt gehad, help je de familie met het bereiden van de maaltijd. Je kunt ook gewoon genieten van het proces door gewoon te kijken, aantekeningen te maken en foto's te maken, wat ook mogelijk is. Alle lokale families spreken ten minste een beetje Engels, wat je de mogelijkheid geeft om te kletsen en te leren over het dagelijks leven in dit land. Praat met de gastfamilie over alles wat je wilt weten, inclusief het delen van dingen over jezelf en je thuisland. De meeste lokale families vinden het ook erg interessant om over andere culturen te horen!
