Pompeii is meer dan een moment bevroren in de tijd, het is een venster op het verleden. Tijdens deze ochtendexcursie ontdek jij de opmerkelijk goed bewaarde huizen en historische plaatsen van Pompeii, waardoor het op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat.

Pompeii werd begraven onder vulkanische as door de catastrofale uitbarsting van de Vesuvius in 79 na Christus - die nog steeds groot opdoemt in de verte - en brengt het oude Rome tot leven. Betreed geplaveide straten die tot leven worden gewekt door een rondleiding via headsets.

Alle belangrijke hoogtepunten komen aan bod: de kazernes van de Gladiatoren, de thermale baden en de marktpiazzas. jij kunt nog steeds fresco's zien op de muren van de huizen van de Romeinse elite.

Get the red-carpet treatment as we start with a skip-the-line minibus trip to kick off your visit to Capri. In Anacapri, you'll enjoy a guided walking tour of the centre, taking in the Belvedere, where you can admire epic views of the jagged coastline. You'll also have free time to explore at your own pace.In the afternoon, it's back on the minibus to go to Capri town. Capri Island Boat Cruise from Maiori

Capri is a small island with a big reputation. On this boat trip, you'll cruise around it, with stops to take in famous natural landmarks as well as swim in the sea. There's also the option of a visit to the Blue Grotto. That's not all though – there'll be some free time in Capri town.Travelling from Maiori, you'll zoom over to Positano or Praiano port by speedboat. On arrival, you'll be welcomed aboard a traditional Sorrentine gozzo boat and sail across the Bay of Naples to Capri. Cruise past the Natural Arch, Santa Croce Bay and the fjord of Furore. There's also a photo stop at Marina di Praia. We'll then continue west, drifting by the Sirenuse Islands, locally known as Li Galli – ‘the Cocks'.Once we've reached Capri, you'll catch sight of the White Grotto, the Natural Arch, Villa Malaparte, Faraglioni Rocks, Marina Piccola and the Green Grotto for a swim. There's an optional visit into the Blue Grotto available, too. We'll then dock in Capri town for some free time for shopping. To round off the cruise, there'll be a swimming stop on the return to Maiori.
