Le plaisir commence au marché de Takuapa, où vous goûtez des fruits thaïlandais frais tout en rencontrant les habitants. Vous vous rendrez ensuite au point de vue du parc national de Khao Sok, puis au sanctuaire local de la forêt tropicale pour rencontrer les éléphants. C'est dans ce sanctuaire que les éléphants âgés, incapables de travailler, profitent de leur vie quotidienne. Une fois que vous aurez aidé à la préparation, vous pourrez préparer des friandises saines pour les éléphants et marcher avec eux dans la jungle tropicale.

Mais ce n'est pas tout, attendez-vous à prendre de belles photo au point de vue du parc national de Khao Sok. Un restaurant nous ouvrira ensuite ses portes pour déguster un repas thaïlandais traditionnel le midi. Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, vous pourrez essayer le radeau en bambou, naviguer le long de la rivière avant de terminer par un sentiment de zen à Monkey Cave, la grotte des Singes. L'intérieur est serein et magnifique, avec un sanctuaire décoré de façon complexe et souvent des moines en train de prier. Vous pourrez également apercevoir des oiseaux et des chauves-souris dans la grotte, mais les singes restent généralement à l'extérieur.

Everything was great, but the tour guide didn't seem to interest d in getting involved with us - I can't remember him even telling us his name. After seeing Poo do such a magnificent job on our previous Unseen tour, the difference was slightly jarring. Other than that, brilliant.

Then swap culture for nature with lunch at the beach and a visit to a turtle rescue centre. Malee, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘You'll have some fun getting to grips with Thai Boxing moves, but the original purpose of Muay Thai was not about fun. It began centuries ago when the army developed battlefield tactics for unarmed combat. These ancient combat techniques eventually evolved into the popular sport we know today.'It's all about getting to know Thailand's authentic side on this tour.
