Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, is a favourite European city destination for cruise passengers. Its history has seen it absorb cultural influences from across the globe, and this historical touch permeates every corner of the city. Your journey begins with a walk up to the imposing Igreja de Santa Engrácia, Portugal's National Pantheon. From there, you'll pass by the monastery of Igreja São Vicente de Fora before reaching the viewpoint Portas do Sol. This vantage point offers a panoramic view over the old town and down to the river Tejo. Continuing your ascent, you'll reach the fortress Castelo de São Jorge.
