Join a combined guided tour of the Saint Marks Basilica and the Doge's Palace:

Your guide will provide you with a wealth of information regarding Saint Mark's Square and then accompany you on a detailed tour of the Golden Basilica, once the private chapel of the Doge of Venice, admire the golden mosaics and impressive marble inlay flooring.

The second segment of your journey takes you to the Doge’s Palace. Once inside, you'll explore the halls where the Duke (Doge) and his Council once dictated the destiny of the Serene Republic. You'll have the opportunity to admire artwork created by some of the most significant artists of the Italian Renaissance, including the world's largest oil painting by Tintoretto. After crossing the renowned Bridge of Sighs, you'll find yourself in the new prisons.

Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of the departure. The meeting point is located next to the post office San Marco (opposite side of the Saint Mark's Basilica). Look for the yellow sign "Meeting point" and the TURIVE assistant. If arriving by boat, take Vaporetto line No. 1 or No. 2, get off at the San Marco (Vallaresso) boat stop, walk directly down “Calle Vallaresso” street and turn right into Saint Mark's Square at the end of the street.

Backpacks are not allowed inside the Basilica and Doge's Palace. Lockers are available on site

This is a combination tour, and you will not stop between tours

Your museum pass will allow you to spend more time inside the Doge's Palace independently after the tour
At the end of the tour, keep your Doge's Palace ticket to visit the rest of the sites: Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale and Monumental Rooms of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Saint Mark's Square
Audio headsets will be provided for more than 10 people in a group
