The astronomical knowledge of those running the evening left something to be desired. They lacked scientific knowledge and gave some information that was factually and cosmologically incorrect. Other than that a dark sky opportunity to see some of the stars of the southern sky not visible from Europe.

Very fun experience, the sky is so massively different in Cape Verde compared the uk. Once the darkness came over the sky lit up, the guides were very knowledgeable and pointed out multiple constellations and different facts and stories. Using the telescope was very cool to see the stars close up and how they compare to each other. The food was 10/10 with multiple options and a very good vegetarian option. Definitely worth the money and a night I won’t forget.

The food was delicious, the guys running the evening were very nice, funny and knowledgeable! We were under the impression that there would be more telescopes but we understand that could be hard to manage, and the guide was keeping us entertained and talking us through the sky while we waited to look through the telescope.
