Themsen har i århundraden varit en symbol för London med sina många berömda landmärken som Tower of London, Tower Bridge, parlamentets hus och Big Ben, St. Paul's katedral, the Shard, nationalteatern och South Bank, stadshuset. Den 2000 år gamla floden är en av de längsta floderna i Storbritannien och flyter genom Thames Valley och andra viktiga städer som Oxford och Windsor, för att bara nämna några.
