Att göra – Elbphilharmonie
Elbphilharmonie (Elbe Philharmonic Hall) är ett konserthus på västra spetsen av HafenCity-kvarteret i Hamburg. Konserthuset invigdes officiellt med konserter och en ljusshow den 11 januari 2017. Den kombinerar innovativ arkitektur, eftersom den nya glasartade konstruktionen liknar en vattenvåg, på ett exceptionellt läge och enastående akustik.
Det schweiziska arkitektföretaget Herzog & de Meuron designade Elbphilharmonie ovanpå Kaispeicher, som var ett gammalt lager från 1960-talet som tidigare lagrade kakaobönor. För närvarande innehåller själva byggnaden ett hotell, lyxlägenheter, restauranger, ett hälso- och fitnesscenter och ett offentligt torg som erbjuder en 360° panoramautsikt över staden. Elbphilharmonie är den högsta bebodda byggnaden i Hamburg som står 354 meter hög.
Elbphilharmonie består av tre konserter: Grand Hall, Recital Hall och Kaistudios. Grand Hall rymmer upp till cirka 2100 personer och baserat på sin strategiska och unika design finns det inga platser med hindrad utsikt och levererar en världens bästa akustik. I själva verket är det en av de största och mest akustiskt avancerade konsertsalarna i världen.
Konserthuset kan lätt nås via kollektivtrafik. Den närmaste tunnelbanestationen, Baumwall, ligger bara cirka 500 meter bort på Hamburgs tunnelbanelinje 3 och närmaste busshållplats, Am Kaiserkai, ligger mindre än 500 meter bort. Om du befinner dig i en annan del av Hamburg kan du också anlända med en färja till hållplatsen Elbphilharmonie.
