These bikes are designed for comfort and reliability, making cycling an effortless adventure. Each bike is equipped with three gears, enabling you to effortlessly ascend bridges and combat headwinds. When blessed with a tailwind, simply shift into a higher gear for a swifter journey.

These urban bicycles come fitted with front and rear lights, ensuring your evening rides are both safe and enjoyable. A gentle ring of the bell alerts pedestrians or other cyclists of your approach. Stopping is straightforward; just apply the handbrakes - left for the front wheel and right for the back. The advanced roller brake system guarantees a smooth and secure stop without locking the wheels. Prior to setting off, the handlebar and saddle heights will be adjusted to suit you perfectly, with further adjustments easily made without tools. The chain guard ensures your attire remains spot-free, so feel free to cycle to a party, restaurant, or museum.

While enjoying your ride through Amsterdam, it's important to adhere to local traffic rules. The bikes are designed to blend in, allowing you to feel more like a local than a tourist. Always give way to traffic from the right and stick to designated bicycle paths. Avoid sudden stops to prevent accidents.

Know in advance:

  • Please find below the Rental Conditions. Please flag the Rental Conditions field at checkout to accept them and proceed with the booking
  • Rental stores are open 7 days a week from 09:00 – 18:00
  • It is possible to bring back the bike(s) after closing time. This service costs € 5 extra per bike
  • It is possible to return your bike(s) to another shop. This service costs € 10,- extra per bike
  • Insurance on an E-bike is mandatory (€12 per day)
  • For other (city) bikes, an optional insurance applies. The insurance option amounts to € 1,75 for 1 to 3 hours / € 3,50 per day (24 hours) per bike, and children's tandem and cargo bike can be insured for € 3,50 for 1 to 3 hours or € 7 per day (24 hours). The insurance covers theft and damage to the bike
  • If you use both options, the extra fee will be €15 per bike. If you are interested in one or both of these options, please ask about the possibilities at the counter in the shop

  • If your bike gets stolen, you pay a part (called “excess”): €50 for a normal bike, €150 for a tandem or cargo bike, €500 for an e-bike, €950 for an electric cargo bike, €500 for the battery, €180 for the charger

  • You MUST return both keys if your bike is stolen. No keys = you pay the full price of the bike

  • Damage? If you have insurance, you pay nothing

  • No insurance? You pay the full cost if the bike is stolen: €450 for a normal bike, €1.500 for a tandem or cargo bike, €2.750 for an e-bike, €3.999 for an electric cargo bike

  • Each bike is equipped with 2 locks. Never leave the bicycle unattended, unless properly locked

  • The electric cargo bike is equipped with a GPS tracker so it can be located in case it gets stolen

  • Always lock the bike with both locks to a bike rack

  • Never leave the key in the lock when you leave the bike

Remember to bring:

  • You should wear comfortable clothing. While an e-bike requires less effort than a regular bike, you'll still be cycling, so check the weather forecast and dress accordingly
  • Cash for the e-bike deposit
  • Credit card
