Veel gezien van het eiland en John was een enthousiaste gids, die er alles aan deed ons een fijne dag te bezorgen. Niet alle uitzichtpunten waren goed te zien door de laaghangende bewolking, maar hij bleef alternatieven aanbieden, hield goed contact met alle aanwezigen (ook met de stille gasten), zonder opdringerig te zijn. Leuke dag gehad.
Sao Miguel's north coast takes centre stage on this scenic tour. See the beautiful Véu da Noiva waterfall and traditional watermills at Ribeira dos Caldeiroes, then visit picturesque Nordeste and enjoy panoramic views from Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada. The optional lunch will be at the village of Achadinha, then you'll make a short stop at Povoacoo Village. On the way back to Ponta Delgada, you'll travel along the south coast, passing by the Lake of Furnas.
