Wir hatten den Ausflug mit deutschsprachiger Führung gebucht und von Ihnen auch bestätigt bekommen. Leider war aber nur alles in englisch, sodass wir die Erklärungen nur teilweise verstanden haben.

We enjoyed the trip to Dubrovnik. The coast was beautiful and interesting facts and stories by our guide Duby along the way. There is a good 2.5hrs travelling each way but that did not bother us. The coach was very comfortable and the driver was great, in that we felt very safe. Our second time to Dubrovnik last time was a cruise tour. So wanted to go back and just enjoy walking around eating and drinking. We would recommend this tour as we enjoyed it.

Tomislav, en av de lokale guidene, sier: "Det er et paradis ikke bare for mennesker, men også for de 860 planteartene og 240 fugle- og fiskearter som lever i Krka nasjonalpark."Krka nasjonalpark er et vernet område med tordnende fossefall, innsjøer og turstier langs elvebredden. Etter en kort introduksjon har du dagen til å spasere langs trebroene ved vannkanten og beundre naturen. Men parkens kronjuvel er Skradinski Buk – et enormt naturlig basseng med 17 fosser som strømmer gjennom trærne. Tomislav legger til: "De eventyrlige trinnene i Skradinski Buk ble dannet av lag med travertin som har bygget seg opp fra mineralkildene som forsyner det."Vi stopper på en lokal restaurant og nyter et måltid mens vi beundrer den vakre utsikten. Deretter har du hele ettermiddagen til å utforske parken på egen hånd. Du kan se på dyrelivet langs stiene, der nattergaler, hegrer, falker og ugler er faste gjester. I tillegg er vannet så klart at det er lett å se fisk i Krkaelven. Bare ved å spasere langs parkens gangveier får du en helt ny forståelse for naturens kraft og kunstneriske evner.

If you're craving a slice of nature and want a change from the throng of Croatia's historic cities, then the Neretva Delta is what you're after. Within an hour and a half of Split, it's a mosaic of waterways, marshes and lagoons that you can peacefully meander along as you switch your holiday to a slower pace for the day.You'll arrive in the morning at Villa Neretva, where you'll board a trupica – a traditional Croatian riverboat – and take to the waterways of the Neretva River. The river's wetlands sprawl across Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a relatively small stretch flowing through Croatia before it pours out into the Adriatic Sea. In this protected conservation area, you'll glide through the clear water, with a good chance of spotting herons, egrets and pygmy cormorants. There are over 300 species of birds here among the other wildlife, so keep an eye out for some more unusual finds, like colourful kingfishers, black and yellow fire salamanders and vibrant Balkan green lizards.Past Lake Kuti, you'll stop for lunch at Neretva House Tavern, which can only be reached by boat, for a feast of traditional Dalmatian dishes. Then, relax as you weave through the green wetlands, on your return to land.
