Zamek Haut-Kœnigsbourg został zbudowany w XII wieku. Na przestrzeni wieków był on miejscem wielu wydarzeń i konfliktów między królami, szlachtą i cesarzami. “Très beau château. Beau travail de réfection avec le peu de moyens qu ils avaient à l époque. Manque peut-être la visite de plus de pièces à vivre dans le château. Et un point de vue exceptionnel. Très bien entretenu.”
