This semi-private walking tour begins at the Vatican Museums where you'll skip the line and head straight inside. Explore the myriad of paintings, sculptures, and tapestries the Museums have to offer.

Your expert guide will then lead you to the Sistine Chapel. Bask in Da Vinci's illustrious ceiling frescoes as your guide enlightens you on its all-important history.

At last, your guide will escort you into St. Peter's Basilica to provide an overview of this spectacular church. At the end of the tour, you can remain inside or you may return outside to St. Peter's Square to admire Bernini's clever optical illusion and the Basilica's heavenly façade.

Meet your guide 15 minutes before the tour starts at the corner of Viale Vaticano and Via Tunisi, between Caffè Vaticano and Hotel Alimandi Vaticano. The guide will be waiting at the bottom of the wide steps across the street from the entrance of the Vatican Museums. The closest metro stop is Ottaviano-Musei Vaticani (red line A). Coordinators will be wearing blue polo shirts or jackets for easy recognition.

Please note that small group tours will have no more than 12 participants and regular group tours will have no more than 20 participants. Meeting points and inclusions are the same for both tours
Saint Peter's Basilica is subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, you'll be offered an extended tour of the Vatican Museums
You'll be requested to provide the full names of all participants during checkout. Without this information, access to St. Peter's Basilica cannot be guaranteed
On Wednesdays, access to St. Peter's Basilica may not be possible until 1 pm, due to the Papal Audience taking place in St. Peter's Square
Please be aware that some of the landmarks and monuments included in this tour may be subject to ongoing maintenance or restoration work. These activities, while essential for preservation, might result in limited access, temporary visual obstructions, or reduced photo opportunities

It’s tough to find the group before the tour. It’s a challenge to keep everyone together. Too many groups inside at the same time. Our tour guide Was excellent and patient. Many of the tour guides from other groups were rude and loud.
