Discover Alexandria, a charming city, located west of Rosetta Nile branch, where the desert meets the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

Be picked up from your accommodation in Marsa Matrouh, El-Alameen and the North Coast and head towards Alexandria City. Visit the Graeco-Roman Museum, erected in 1892. The Museum consists of 27 halls and an attractive garden, which offer an excellent introduction to Egypt's Greco-Roman period. Resume driving to the Fort and Citadel of Qaitbay. The Citadel occupies the site of the much more famous Pharos lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Now, It is time to stretch your legs and enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.

Following lunch, you will visit Alexandria Bibliotheca. The Great Library of Alexandria was one of the ancient world's largest and most significant libraries. The idea of reviving the old legendary library dates back to 1974, officially inaugurated on 16 October 2002 to mark the beginning of the 21st century. The library has shelf space for eight million books, with the main reading room covering 20,000 square meters. The complex also houses a conference centre with specialized libraries for maps and multimedia for the blind and visually impaired, young people, and children.
