Journey from Krakow to the town of Oświęcim to explore one of the darkest chapters in Europe's history. Tour the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum with an English-speaking guide who will provide you with a sensitive tour giving you insight into life in the camps and the horrors that occurred during their years of operation.

You'll learn how more than 1.5 million people were sent to the camps by the Nazi regime and put to death during World War II. Founded in 1947, the memorial was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 for the important story it relates.

Pay your respects to the victims of the Holocaust, while hearing details about life at the camp, where original features, along with personal possessions that belonged to the prisoners, are a reminder of the horrors that should never happen again.

Due to the extremely high visitors’ volume and internal policies, Auschwitz-Birkenau reserves the right to cancel tours or guides at any time, even a few days or hours before the visit. If this happens, you will be informed and if possible, offered an alternative date or program
