La Gomera offre des paysages intacts et une culture unique en son genre. Au cours de cette excursion, vous visiterez cette île semblable au Jurassique et découvrirez le parc national de Garajonay, des villages et la charmante capitale : San Sebastian. Arianne, l'une de nos guides, dit de l'île : "La Gomera est un monde totalement différent. C'est un retour dans le passé, à l'origine des îles Canaries".

La vedette de cette journée serait le parc national de Garajonay, classé patrimoine de l'UNESCO. C'est un mélange de ravins et de gorges profondes remplies de forêts de lauriers anciennes et brumeuses et de plantes rares. Lors de la visite de son centre d'interprétation, vous découvrirez sa botanique et son histoire. Vous découvrirez également des hameaux tels que l'oasis de Chejelipes, situé sur les rives d'un réservoir, et les villages du nord, Hermigua et Aguilo. L'un des points forts est la visite d'un restaurant familial réputé pour ses vues imprenables sur les paysages volcaniques de l'île. Un repas du midi typique préparé à partir d'ingrédients locaux vous y attend.

Vous aurez aussi l'occasion de découvrir la culture locale en assistant à une démonstration du langage sifflé propre de l'île, appelé "silbo gomero". Pour compléter l'expérience, du temps libre vous permet d'explorer Saint-Sébastien à votre rythme. Ici, vous pourrez suivre les traces de Christophe Colomb avant qu'il n'entame son premier voyage de découverte. Plus qu'une visite sur une autre île, une excursion à La Gomera est un voyage dans une autre époque.

North West Tenerife Hidden Secrets Guided Tour with Transport

It's one pretty village after another on this exclusive tour in the rugged northwest of Tenerife. We'll drop in at a roll call of the island's must-visits. Christian, one of our local experts, says, ‘A guide shows you around the park in Icod de los Vinos and gives you the lowdown on its fascinating dragon tree, which is 20 metres tall.' Santiago del Teide, local speciality tasting and a trip to Teno Rural Park are also part of the line-up.You'll journey through Santiago del Teide, a highland village of whitewashed homes. In Icod de Los Vinos, you'll admire the centuries-old dragon tree, with some free time to wander around the town. Garachico – often called the ‘prettiest and unluckiest' – awaits with some interesting history. Devastated by a volcanic eruption in 1706 and rebuilt on its lava, it's now famous for natural lava pools, guarded by a volcanic rock castle, where locals and visitors alike come to bathe. When it's time to take a break, there's a tasty local lunch, served in a family-run restaurant in a traditional finca. Teno Rural Park showcases the island's rich biodiversity and is known as the source of Tenerife's top-quality natural produce. Southern Tenerife sightseeing tour with wine-tasting

Dramatic landscapes and rugged, volcanic shores come as standard in Tenerife. But, not a lot is said about the rich agriculture the island offers. On this tour, you'll journey through the south and get to know the island's culture and identity. You'll see how aloe vera is grown and learn about its many uses at a plantation, explore the lofty village of Vilaflor de Chasna and sample local wines. Ivan, one of our expert local guides, says “Vilaflor was once called Chasna. But, when a ship captain called Pedro de Bracamonte visited, he spotted a beautiful Guanche girl and shouted Vi la flor de Chasna, which means I've seen the flower of Chasna – after this, the village got its name.”The dry climate and year-round sunshine in the Canaries mean that aloe vera thrives here, even though it is not a native species – it originally came from the Arabian Peninsula. You'll take a guided tour of the plantation, and the owners will share their knowledge about the curative powers of this well-known plant, which is used for medicinal purposes in cultures throughout history.Next, you'll visit Vilaflor. Perched on the southern slope of the island's volcano, Mount Teide, the views down to the coast from 1,400 metres above sea level are next level. VIP La Gomera luxury minivan tour

La Gomera is the Canary Island where time stood still. Be whisked away in VIP class on the ferry from Tenerife and explore its peaks and valleys in the best way possible – by luxury minivan.
