At Herculaneum we would have liked a bit more time there, to see the remains in the boat houses.

What made the experience so enjoyable was the friendliness and knowledge of our guide, Francesca. She was excellent. Also, the transportation there and back was faultless as was the very good lunch.

I enjoyed the whole of the experience, it was really well run, Francesca was brilliant The only thing I didn’t like were the toilets on the sites, not TUI’s fault I know but you would think the Italian tourist board would provide something better considering the amount of tourists in and out of the sites

Our guide Toni was very informative and gave us a great insight into the lives of people in Pompeii and Herculaneum. The tour felt a bit rushed at times but we were cramming a lot into one day

More time needed at Pompei and Herculaneum. Bus was 30 minutes late and traffic atrocious. Seat belts didn’t work and bus had dirty windows and curtains hanging down. Large price to pay for two hours at each site and 5 hours unsafe travel. Guide was very average.
