Boat cruise
Gelukkig hadden wij prachtig weer en mede daardoor was deze excursie erg leuk, wel jammer dat de lunch minimaal was en de reisleidster zich voordeed als een chagrijnige korporaal.
For a day spent discovering the hidden treasures of the Aegean Sea, you can't beat this cruise. Spend time in the picturesque harbour town of Vathi, grab lunch in a traditional taverna and then cast off for an afternoon at the Blue Lagoon, with bright, turquoise waters ideal for swimming in.
Picked up from your hotel and taken to Kos port, you'll board the boat ready for a day at sea. Sail towards Kalymnos island where you'll stop off in the quaint harbour and village of Vathi. Take some time to stroll the seafront, before setting off to Pserimos island. Along the way, you'll have the chance to admire the picture-postcard views of Plati's coast. And once in Pserimos, you'll head to a local taverna for lunch.
Then, it's time for the main attraction – the Blue Lagoon of Pserimos. Clear, shimmering and warm waters that are a palette of blues practically beg you to jump in – and you can. Choose to cool off with a swim or stay on board to catch a few rays before taking the leisurely cruise back towards Kos.
