Découvrir Tulum
As the only Maya archaeological site on the coast of the Yucatan, Tulum draws visitors as much for its views as its monuments. The ruins of this remarkable clifftop city make for a compelling visit, usually followed by a dip and selfie in the wave-washed beach – famed for its turtles – below it. You can visit and wander around yourself, admiring the genuine uniqueness of the site. Or you can join a guided tour to get the lowdown on the meaning behind El Castillo pyramid, the Temple of the Frescoes, Temple of the Descending God, the House of the Halach Uinic and more. And then, round off the experience by popping down to the beach for a dip. Playa Paraíso, located just below El Castillo pyramid, is particularly popular. To avoid the crowds and heat, it’s advisable to arrive early in the day. Bring sun cream, water and comfie footwear to get the most out of your visit to one of Mexico’s most impressive heritage sites.

Avis Tulum
“Great driver and friendly tour guide. We had lovely time”
“An adventure filled morning… we knew it was going to be early but that was good, we were of the first to arrive to Tulum. The trip from Cancun was not bad either, make sure you have a snack or breakfast for on the way. After tulum we were provided some pizza and snacks. Cenote and experience were A+”
“In Tulum we where told to stay together as a group which we did until the end where we were waiting for internal transport to take us back to the car park the guide got on the first tram leaving others to get back alone every tram came through full we finally got on one after 20min luckily one person could speak Spanish and asked where to go otherwise we would not have had any idea the guide should have waited till all the party was safely on the trams not good at all spoiled the day”
“It was very hot which made it hard to concentrate on what the guide Lilly was saying at Tulum. But she was very informative. Definitely need a hat or large umbrella. I love the heat but that day was really hot Preferred the village and swim in the Cenote. I think it was a bit overpriced but glad I went”
