Musée de l’Orangerie on impressionistinen taidemuseo Pariisin keskustassa, Tuileriesin puutarhassa.
Museon nimi juontaa juurensa sen aiemmasta käyttötarkoituksesta, kun se toimi kasvihuoneena appelsiinipuille. Silloisen muodin mukaisesti 1600-1700 -luvun asunnoissa tuli olla appelsiini- ja sitruspuita, ja kasvihuoneet mahdollistivat kasvien pitämisen myös vaihtelevissa sääolosuhteissa. Puut olivat vaurauden ja arvovallan symboleja.

“Happy to see Monets work in place here but need better crowd control. Very very loud and everywhere people were doing cell phone photo or video shoots. Not just a quick photo but blocking the paintings for extensive time with multiple doing same at same time. No chance of contemplating paintings”
