The Zayed National Museum offers a compelling journey through the United Arab Emirates' history, focusing on the life and legacy of its Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

You'll explore six permanent galleries that showcase both ancient and modern history. The outdoor Al Masar Garden adds another dimension to your visit, illustrating Sheikh Zayed's story through landscapes that inspired him. The garden features native plants arranged in three distinct zones: desert, oasis and urban, reflecting the diverse environments of the UAE.

The museum experience extends beyond the exhibits, with the country's culture infused throughout the venue. This includes the restaurant, cafés and the Al Nagwa Boutique, all of which reflect the UAE's heritage and contemporary identity.

Please make your way directly to the Museum. You can reach the museum via car, various bus routes or taxi. Just board the most convenient line and get off at a stop close to the museum.

Zayed National Museum can accommodate the diverse needs of all visitors. If you have any requirements, the staff is ready to assist with any needs

Know in advance:

Under 18, seniors over 60 and individuals with disabilities or special needs can enter free of charge
Opening hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM daily. Last entry is about 1 hour before closing time
Prayer rooms can be found on the first floor
Free parking and complimentary Wi-Fi are available
Cloakrooms are available near the entrances
An ATM is available on the ground floor of the museum
Restroom facilities are available across the museum
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Clothing should cover shoulders and knees, respecting the UAE culture
