Explore one of the largest catacombs in Naples on this 1-hour guided tour. The San Gaudioso catacomb lies under the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità (St. Mary of Health), at the heart of the district, and inside this cemetery, early Christian and 17th-century elements coexist.

On this tour, you get the chance to admire these early Christian elements, such as the tomb of San Gaudioso, frescoes, and mosaics of the 5th and 6th centuries. At the same time, you'll see special burials reserved for the aristocracy and the clergy, dating back to the 17th century, when the catacombs resumed their function as the sepulchral site. Discover the special process behind the burials of nobles and members of the clergy.

Se visitan las catacumbas de S Gaudioso, y la iglesia y el pesebre de Sta Maria della Sanita. Todo muy bien explicado con informacion detallada e interesantisima. Hay opciones de tour en italiano o en inglés. Importante elegir idioma q se entienda muy bien p aprovechar la visita.
