Lanzarote's volcanic scenery comes into its own at Timanfaya National Park. This corner of the island is all rusty-red peaks and craters straight from a sci-fi movie set. And it's all even more dramatic at sunset. So on this evening trip, you're in for a treat. Before heading to Timanfaya, we'll make a short stop at La Geria winery. Local guide, Maria, says, “this bodega offers a magnificent backdrop of volcanic vineyards and sweeping mountain views as you sip on local varieties in a wine sampling.”

You'll drive the park's famous Lunar Route around the scorched peaks, known as the Mountains of Fire. Then, enjoy an exclusive stop at Montaña a Rajada lookout, before arriving at El Diablo, a circular restaurant built on top of the Islote de Hilario volcano. Designed by Lanzarote's acclaimed architect, Cesar Manrique, its floor-to-ceiling windows command jaw-dropping panoramas over the national park.

After capturing the candy floss clouds and craters on camera, tuck into dinner sizzled up on the volcano-heated barbecue, enjoying the views and live Canarian music.

Viel zu stressige Tour. Kaum Zeit die Landschaft zu genießen. Das BBQ war mehr als enttäuschend! Essen wurde mir Sicherheit nicht auf dem Grill zubereitet. Alles war komplett kalt und hat absolut überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Dachten eher uns erwartet ein richtiges BBQ wo direkt vom Grill serviert wird. Wir waren für den Preis mehr als enttäuscht. Auf der Bus Tour durch den Park lief die ganze Zeit schreckliche Musik die dramatisch klingen sollte, einfach nur nervig. Geld definitiv nicht wert!

It was a good day overall. However the stop at winery was pointless was told would get 2 glasses of wine only gave us 1 had to ask for another which they made us lineup for again. Wasn’t there long. The volcano was fascinating and the food was nice but could have had more drinks considering how much we paid. Dropped us near our hotel on way back which was nice. Would have been better trip started earlier so there was more time instead of rushing around so much.

Nicht gefallen hat uns die kurze Zeit der Möglichkeit aus dem Bus auszusteigen. 15 min waren leider zu kurz. Die Aussicht war gigantisch! Der Souvenir Shop war bei Ankunft leider geschlossen. Als wir abfahren wollten/mussten war der geöffnet und es war keine Zeit den besuchen zu können. Alles andere war super.
