Ready to descent 140 meters underground and explore breathtaking chambers with statues made of salt?

Explore remarkable chambers and beautifully decorated chapels hand-carved by local miners. At the end of the route, you can also visit the souvenir shop and snack bar. From here, return to the surface by the high-speed lift.

With this skip-the line ticket, you do not have to wait at the ticket office to purchase the entrance ticket. Please be be aware that sometimes, due to the high interest in visiting the mine, you may be requested to wait in the queue at the entrance of the mine itself.

  • This tour is not recommended if you struggle with claustrophobia or walking disabilities; there are 800 steps on the way, including 380 right at the start

Not allowed:

  • Flash photography is not allowed

Extra fees to be paid on-side:

  • Taking photographs requires a special permit which can be purchased in the ticket office or during the visit itself and the cost is PLN 10 (2.5 EUR, optional)

Know in advance:

  • Please provide the full name and phone number of each participant during booking. The local operator will then send you the official entrance ticket (PDF) for the mine to the indicated phone number
  • Entry time may vary by +/- 30 minutes from your booked time. The local operator may contact you by email or phone after booking to confirm your entry time

Remember to bring:

  • Please wear warm clothing and comfortable shoes

    Goed geregelde tour door de schitterende zoutmijn van Wieliczka, de gids wist een hoop te vertellen.

    Een bezoek aan de zoutmijnen is alleszins de moeite waard. De juiste ingang vinden, kon beter. Met "skip the line" kaartjes verwachtten een gids die ons meenam. We moesten "gewoon" aansluiten in de rij voor Engels. Eenmaal binnen was het geen probleem. Uitstekend Engels sprekende gids met humor.
